BSFC member and group secretary Laura Clifford and her husband, Robin, were awarded the first Legacy Award from Urban Media Arts, Malden’s media center, “in recognition of the longstanding contributions to media arts” and “in appreciation for (their) commitment, creativity, and unselfish dedication to Urban Media Arts and the local community” at its annual meeting on Dec. 6. The Cliffords have been producing and hosting the cable-access film show Reeling: The Movie Review Show since 1991. To do the math, that’s 830 episodes and more than 7,400 reviews. Their website, http://www.reelingreviews.com, has been online since 1995 and features thousands of film reviews and film festival coverage.
